| Cholderton Estate is a family owned 3,000 acre farming estate on the Hampshire Wiltshire borders with a long established history of conservation work and projects. The farm is totally organic, and although only fully certified as such for a year, has in fact been so unofficially for many years. Michael’s Wood is a wonderful old wood set in the heart of the Estate, surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside. It seemed a natural progression from the organic/conservation aspects of the farm that a woodland burial site should become part of the landscape of the place. It doesn’t matter what time of the year you visit the wood, it is always stunning, with the sound of many different types of birds all round you. |
